GENERAL HYDROPONICS

FLORABLEND VEGAN PLANT BOOSTER & COMPOST TEA

We take a diverse mixture of highly bioactive microorganisms and feed them a feast of select food sources in a hyper oxygenated environment. These beneficial microorganisms multiply consuming these food sources and through bioconversion processes new organic compounds are formed. These highly soluble organic compounds increase and promote healthy root structures, build the plants immune system and provide carbon building blocks for plant processes responsible for color and flavor of fruits and vegetables.

  • FloraBlend is a vegan product and contains no animal derived ingredients.
  • FloraBlend is a completely digested ferment, which translates into a very stable product and long or indefinite shelf life.
  • FloraBlend is very clean product that can be utilized in all hydroponic systems.
  • FloraBlend is a compost tea that is fermented from a proprietary blend of plant materials, plus seaweed, rock powders and micronized leonardite

REVIEW

If you're extremely into vegan and organic fertilizers, this is a great route to go. General Hydroponics was gracious enough to send a few cases for people in our society to try out and to get our feedback. And the overall feedback is in: It's a hit!

Even for those that may not be that interested in whether their fertilizers are organic and vegan or if they're synthetic, there are still many advantages to using this product! It's a great safe product to use for foliar feeding and from our experience tomatoes just LOVE it. We grew some heriloom tomatoes in Fox Farm's Ocean Forest Soil, and along with the 3 Part Fox Farm Fertilizers, we used Florablend as a foliar feed and ibetween heavy waterings when the plants looked a little thirsty. The plants that had this extra little boost of nutrients grew in leaps and bounds compared to the plants that had just the Fox Farm Fertilizers. Might this have happened if we used any old fertilizer the same way? Maybe... but at this price, it more than makes up for what it costs. It's a very cost-effective way of adding nutrients to your plant's diet and San Diego Urban Growers Society is very happy to stand by this product!

We would like to thank Jesse at General Hydroponics for helping out our society and thank General Hydroponics for being one of the first companies to take us under their wing with a sponsorship!

Welcome to the website for the San Diego Urban Growers Society! Our society is comprised of enthusiasts who grow everything from lettuce and spinach, all the way to rare orchids and pansies.

We are centralized in beautiful downtown San Diego, with members ranging all the way from Escondido and Carlsbad to San Ysidro and up to Bakersfield!

We have meetings every third Thursday of the month, so make sure to keep your calendar clear on those dates. We discuss issues relevant to our inner city gardens, like clone propagation, vegetation, blooming, insect control, odor control, indoor greenhouse construction, lighting, nutrients, air movement, carbon dioxide introduction, and water control.

We are currently looking for SPONSORS! Anyone know any sponsors out there or want to make calls, feel free. We need all the support we can muster up for our upcoming trials!

Right now our website is under construction, so please stick with us through this brief period of time.
