Right now we are working on gathering sponsors for our upcoming product trials. This is the forum where all results and ongoing progress will be displayed. Currently, these are the conditions and variables we will be testing:

We will be doing the first set of tests on sensitives, pansies, phalaenopsis, tomatoes, sage, basil, and other more specialized herbs and flowers that our members may have interests in. A quick example of how the trials will be run can be downloaded here in word format. Remember, this is just a preliminary example and all variables are subject to change as we confirm our sponsors.

Welcome to the website for the San Diego Urban Growers Society! Our society is comprised of enthusiasts who grow everything from lettuce and spinach, all the way to rare orchids and pansies.
We are centralized in beautiful downtown San Diego, with members ranging all the way from Escondido and Carlsbad to San Ysidro and up to Bakersfield!
We have meetings every third Thursday of the month, so make sure to keep your calendar clear on those dates. We discuss issues relevant to our inner city gardens, like clone propagation, vegetation, blooming, insect control, odor control, indoor greenhouse construction, lighting, nutrients, air movement, carbon dioxide introduction, and water control.
We are currently looking for SPONSORS! Anyone know any sponsors out there or want to make calls, feel free. We need all the support we can muster up for our upcoming trials!
